Ms. Queral is a visionary leader with over 30 years of experience in the social services and juvenile justice fields who is currently the Assistant Secretary of the Juvenile Rehabilitation in the Department of Children, Youth, and Families.

She has extensive leadership experience and a record of success in leading organizational change in Juvenile Rehabilitation grounded in the understanding of positive youth development and brain science.

Marybeth is recognized for her ability to create strategic alliances and engage partners to address the holistic needs of youth and build a stronger connection with their families and their communities. Ms. Queral is committed to the use of evidence based programs and to partnering with communities to address racial and ethnic disparities.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.
