Harvey Perez is the Director of Institution Programs for DCYF’s Juvenile Rehabilitation (JR) division. Harvey oversees and supports the care, custody and treatment of youth committed to JR institutions: Echo Glen Children Center, Green Hill School and Naselle Youth Camp. Harvey also oversees the JR clinical team, behavior health administrator and medical director.
Harvey has more than 30 years of experience in Washington State government programs, which include juvenile justice, developmental disabilities, public health, behavioral health and Medicaid. He has served on senior leadership teams at the Department of Social and Health Services and the Department of Health.
Harvey holds a BS in Business Administration from Central Washington University. He also completed the Executive Education Program for Public Executives at Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government, in 2008. In 2010, he received the Governor’s Award for Leadership in Management, and in 2012, he received the Governor’s Exemplary Service Recognition.
