Pol-0012-3 Verifying New Employment Income and/or Stop Work

Policy

This policy applies to verifying new employment or stop work when the applicant has applied for other benefit programs.

  1. ACES documentation of a consumer’s new employment is acceptable verification when:
    1. Employment was verified within the past 21 days.
    2. Documentation in ACES includes:
      1. Name of the business;
      2. Contact person’s name and title;
      3. Hourly income, plus any anticipated tips, bonuses, or commissions;
      4. Anticipated hours worked per week; and
      5. Frequency of payment
  2. ACES documentation of a consumer’s stop work is acceptable verification when the documentation includes:
    1. Name of the business;
    2. Contact person’s name and title; and
    3. Last date of employment.
