Pol-0020-2 Adjusting Authorizations Based on IRP Establishment

This policy applies to consumers approved for 14 days before starting an activity pending establishment of an individual responsibility plan (IRP) with an approved activity.

  1. Consumers not yet approved for TANF may be authorized full time child care for 14 days pending establishment of an IRP with an approved activity. 
  2. Following the 14-day approval: 
    1. Consumers not approved for TANF or without an established IRP with an approved activity will be terminated providing 10 days’ advance notice.
    2. Consumers approved for TANF with an established IRP showing less than 110 hours of an approved activity will have their authorizations reduced providing 10 days’ advance notice to match the approved activity schedule for the remainder of the approved certification period.
