This policy applies when consumers request child care benefits for school activities.

  1. A consumer may choose the date, times and location that study time is to take place.
  2. If listed as a part of their approved schooling activity, a consumer may be eligible for the time that they participate in internships/externships and practicums.
  3. DCYF considers consumers to be in “good standing” if they are allowed to register for classes.
