Policy

This policy applies when determining what region to authorize to a provider.

  1. There are 6 regions and Spokane County is separate. The county a provider is located in determines the region they are in except for child care centers in the following counties:

    Clark County is in Region 6 but paid at Region 3 rates

    Benton /Walla Walla counties are in Region 2 but paid Region 6 rates

    Whitman County is in Region 1 but paid at Region 6 rates

    Spokane County for special needs rates is paid at Region 1 rates
