Policy

This policy applies to all school-aged children.

For the purposes of this policy, homeschool is defined by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction’s definition of homeschool as outlined in RCW 28A.200.

  1. When determining an authorization for payment:
    1. Children enrolled in homeschool and completing schoolwork from home are not eligible for child care subsidy during the time schoolwork is being completed.
    2. Children enrolled in school and completing school work remotely, virtually, or online while unable to attend school in-person may be eligible for child care subsidy during the time schoolwork is being completed.
