DCYF launched a new DCYF By the Numbers webpage where media professionals and the public can find and download infographics featuring relevant data points specific to DCYF’s services, programs, and divisions.
The first available infographic is DCYF By the Numbers: Juvenile Rehabilitation (available in English | Spanish | Somali). Frequently requested data in this infographic comprises:
- Number of Secure Facilities
- Number of Community Facilities
- Ages Served
- Average Sentence Length
- Average Age of Population
- Recidivism Rate
- Race/Ethnicity
As infographics are created and rolled out, spotlighting relevant in-demand data across the department, these will be added to the new webpage.
DCYF hopes that with these new infographics, frequently requested data and information will become more transparent and accessible.
