Schools Closed Through April 24 in Washington State

To slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Washington state, Gov. Jay Inslee announced on March 13, that all public and private K–12 schools in the state will be closed through Friday, April 24.

During this time, schools will continue to provide meals and some schools may offer child care. Schools are also exploring online learning. The Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) has answers to questions regarding these topics and more in the following document:
