Deputy Regional Administrator for Region 4
John started his child welfare career in Sept. 1995 with Juvenile Rehabilitation. In July 1996 John earned his Master of Education in Counseling. John has held many positions within DCYF over his 28+ years. John served as a Juvenile Rehabilitation Counselor, Social Worker, Supervisor, Area Administrator and finally for the last 11 years as a Deputy Regional Administrator currently in King County Region 4.
John and his wife of two years Sundi, have six adult children and seven grandchildren as well as three Yorkies. John loves spending time in the great outdoors enjoying the mountains and warm sunny beaches, fly fishing, salmon fishing and hiking. John is committed to his faith and his family, putting his faith “first” in his life.
