Adrianne Franklin

Adrianne Franklin started her child welfare career in Orange County Florida in 2001. She began as a CPS Investigator, promoted to supervisor and then an Operations and Management Consultant. From there Adrianne became an Executive Director of a private agency that placed sibling groups together in foster care. In 2009 Adrianne moved back home to Washington State where she began working for DCYF. She has held positions as an Indian Child Welfare (ICW) Social Worker, CFWS Supervisor, Area Administrator, and QA/CQI Administrator in Region 3 before becoming the Director of Child Welfare Programs and Practice.

Adrianne has been a foster parent both in Florida and in Washington and adopted two teenage boys from our system who are now adults and has a teenage daughter at home. When she is not working, you can usually find her at one of her daughter’s many sporting events.

Adrianne holds her Bachelor’s in Secondary Education with a major in history and minor in social services from Eastern Washington University and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management and an MBA in Accounting both from the University of Phoenix.
