Bolesha Johnson has always wanted to be a social worker because she loves helping people. She began her career with Children’s Administration (now DCYF) more than 25 years ago.

After earning her MSW from the Child Welfare Training and Advancement Program (CWTAP) program, she served in many supervisory positions including:  

• Accreditation Lead
• Policy Implementor
• Court Service Liaison
• Quality Assurance Lead
• Area Administrator
• Deputy Regional Administrator

Bolesha is a natural born leader and committed to making a difference for the child welfare workforce. She loves music, dancing, skating, traveling, and quiet time. She shares her life with her husband, daughter, and two beautiful granddaughters.
