Deputy Assistant Secretary of Child Welfare
Renata moved to America with her family in 1991 from Russia. She now calls Vancouver home. She began her child welfare career in 2004 as a CPS investigator.
Her entire adult life has been dedicated to public service. For more than 20 years she has served in many roles within state government, including

- Licensing
- Human Resources
Renata has a master’s degree in public affairs from Washington State University.
She is a mother to two amazing kids, Damien and Isabella. Renata’s husband, Justin, is her biggest ally in work and life. Her family enjoys game nights, movies, and travel.
