On February 19, Secretary Hunter spoke at the Washington State Association of Head Start & ECEAP (Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program) Winter Meeting in Olympia. Echo Glen’s Canine Connections program is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month. Since 1990, Echo Glen has taken in service dogs and pound puppies for youth to train and prepare for adoption.
