DCYF is building out a suite of dashboards related to different topics in Child Welfare. Our goal is to update these dashboards regularly and to make the underlying data publicly available at Data.WA.Gov.
Child Welfare Agency Performance
This dashboard displays the Child Welfare outcome goals identified as part of the DCFY Agency Strategic Priorities. The dashboard displays annual measures and regional variation of CPS response rates, screen in decisions, youth entering and experiencing out-of-home care, out-of-home length-of-stay, licensing of kinship providers, and re-entry into out-of-home care.
Racial Disproportionality and Disparity in Child Welfare
This dashboard displays annual measures and regional variation of racial and ethnic disparity and disproportionality at five key points of the child welfare system: intakes, screened-in child welfare intakes, removals, placement within one year of intake, and experiencing care lasting two or more years.
Child Welfare Quality Assurance Supplemental Dashboard
DCYF reports measures of child welfare quality, as defined in legislation, to supplement our agency performance measures. This dashboard includes measures of timely CPS response, monthly worker visits, placement stability, permanency, recurrence, maltreatment in care, kinship care placement, and foster home monitoring.
