Adoption Consortium Connects Foster Youth with Adoptive Families
Adoption consortium is a service that assists caseworkers in identifying adoptive homes for youth in need of permanency. This service also provides potential adoptive families an opportunity to hear about youth in need of a permanent home, ask questions, and present themselves to the caseworkers as a potential match.

Monthly Units and Waived Copay Webinars for Providers
The Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF), in partnership with Service Employees Internation Union (SEIU) 925, hosted a series of webinars for Licensed Family Home Providers regarding waived copayments for July, August, and September 2021 as well as monthly unit authorizations. The PowerPoint presentation is available in all three languages and the Spanish and Somali webinar recordings are available below.
COVID-19 Funds Available for Alumni Foster Youth
The Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) and Treehouse are partnering to disperse approximately $1.65 million in congressional funds to help alumni of foster care recover from the financial hardships caused by the pandemic.

New Child Care Subsidy Billing and Payment Guides Available Online
Dear Provider:
The Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) has updated its Child Care Subsidy Billing and Payment Guides for all licensed providers: centers, family home, and family, friends, and neighbors (FFN). The guides are available online in English, Spanish, and Somali.
Youth in JR Celebrate Education Milestones
As we turn the corner into summer, several youth in Juvenile Rehabilitation (JR) have been making strides in their education and are celebrating graduations and even job offers. DCYF strives to provide every JR student with an excellent education that prepares them for a healthy, productive life.
Full-Time Student WCCC Eligibility
The Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is pleased to share that starting July 1, 2021, parents attending full-time community, technical, or tribal college are no longer required to work to qualify for Working Connections Child Care (WCCC). Student parents enrolled full-time may be eligible for WCCC when participating in the following:
