Dual Language Training
DCYF is working to create training and resources that are culturally responsive. These trainings help teachers and coaches support children who are learning more than one language. This work is guided by RCW 43.216.105.
This free training is available to all early learning providers in Washington state. You will learn:
- Research-based strategies to support children’s language development
- The benefits of learning more than one language
- Why culture is an important part of how children learn language
You will earn 12 in-service (STARS) hours when you finish the training.
