School-Age WAC

DCYF, in partnership with the SACC WAC Guiding Council, has proposed re-written rules for school-age programs. The SACC Guiding Council is made up of school-age providers and School’s Out Washington (SOWA). The SACC Guiding Council met over a two-year period to inform the updates and improvements of the Licensed School-Age Child Care Standards (WAC 110-305). The council held six public forums and conducted a separate stakeholder survey to inform their recommendations. The proposed rewritten and updated school-age rules were posted and received public review and comment.

Individuals may submit questions related to the proposed rules for school-age programs to dcyf.wacqanda@dcyf.wa.gov. When WAC 110-301 is finalized, DCYF will publicly post the questions and related answers on this page. DCYF will notify school-age child care programs when the webpage and FAQs related to WAC 110-301 are posted.
